Status before implementation The refrigeration system is the largest energy consuming system in the factory. Currently, the factory has 3 refrigeration systems operating independently, using NH3 refrigerant.
Compressor room of the factory The plant would merge the three existing separate refrigeration systems into a new one. At the same time, the plant also installed a lot of new equipment to enhance the energy efficiency of the refrigeration system such as: installation of a water & non-condensing air separator from NH3, installation of a water chiller and heat exchanger to reduce the amount of flake ice in use, installation of a device that automatically controls the compressor capacity to suit the cold load of the system. |
Result The total electricity consumed has reduced by 28.3% thanks to the improved refrigeration system.
