Status before implementation The company was using 1 SG90A (90 kW) screw air compressor to supply compressed air for production activities. The set pressure was (5.8 - 7.2 bar).
Load graph of MNK SG90A The load graph showed the compressor operation in Load-Unload mode. The average operating capacity was approx. 67.2kW. Reducing the time of operation in Unload mode will help save energy consumption of the air compressor. |
Result Yaskawa's GA700 90kW VSD has been installed for SG90A screw air compressors. During the assessment period, the average operating capacity was around 57.9kW.
