Status before implementation Minh Dang Co., Ltd. produces frozen seafood for export with main products including: squid, octopus. The factory has 2 continuous refrigeration systems for cold storage, IQF conveyor, and re-freezing. In order to save the energy, the plant was planning to replace 4 existing reciprocating compressors with 2 high-efficient screw refrigeration compressors.

Result The plant has replaced 4 reciprocating refrigeration compressors with 2 high-efficient screw compressors. Total power consumption for the refrigeration systems reduced by 30.6% 298 tons of CO2/ year have been be reduced.
